A.W.A.K.E. Mode
Natalia Alaverdian has always been clear on her aesthetic convictions, she was the fashion director for Harper's Bazaar Russia after all, before she came to create A.W.A.K.E. in 2012. A.W.A.K.E. stands for "All Wonderful Adventures Kindle Enthusiasm" and is where Alaverdian’s magical ideas take shape, as she combines her playful imagination, classicism and irony, altogether to create a style that travels between the abstract and concrete. The brand’s inspirations are linked to the cinematographic world and fairy tale fantasies, to which Alaverdian adds a Japanese-style sartorial quality. All emerge in collections of muted colour palettes that are a show of Alaverdian’s many artistic skills. A.W.A.K.E. was born to fulfil the desire to express the dreamy world of Alaverdian, and thanks to this, her garments are a welcome piece in any wardrobe in need of a story.
