MM6 Maison Margiela

A graduate of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Martin Margiela founded the eponymous brand in 1988. The Parisian debut in 1989 marked a new era consecrating Martin Margiela as spokesperson for the avant-garde wave that marked Belgian fashion. Indeed, the brand definitely transformed the aesthetics of the time. An impeccable and evolving brand. The evolution of the brand is also marked on the label through the impression of numbers that, once circled, identify the reference collection. In 1997, the circle around the number 6 was added, giving life to MM6, the contemporary line created with a casual and contemporary taste: a complete collection of clothing, bags, shoes and accessories.
